Waiting for Godot...

Being an MBA student I was desperately waiting for the most important and crucial time in the 2years of my management studies- The Placement time…..woahhhha!!! the time has arrived when my college would start getting corporates to the campus to recruit the intelligent bred of managers…as any management college the placement cell of my college has been one buzzing place (most coveted committee to be a member of due to the importance it carried of placing people) for last few months…my placement co-ordinator along with her team has been doing rounds to the corporates making presentations and sending invites to visit our campus (not being IIMs means competitions not just between the students but also between the placement cells of the colleges)….the placement co-ordinator; I am sure would be having sleepless nights because of the not so good current economic & financial scenario….As for students, we were put on fire by the placement head with her drab counselling sessions (Were they counselling or demoralizing?? Since all she spoke was markets and down so do not live in your ivory tower, do not expect much this year, do not be too choosy (which meant everyone be prepared for sales profile), take up wateva job comes your way (sweeping, swabbing, dusting…nything)) which would put the nerdy Iyers of my batch under depression for 3 days……I was never moved out of my slumber by her speech, she was one yak machine which could not budge me an inch, until first 10odd students from my batch got placed in one of the major financial institutions….and immediately in a day we got a mail that we would be having 3 other companies visiting our campus, I was like wat the heck!!!! The heat is on and I am not prepared to face the gruelling rounds of interview….wat do I do wat do I do????? All this while I was waiting for Godot!!! Phewwwwwwwwww guess he has arrived ….

My first blog!!

I always had friends who blogged, then i met new friends who also blogged and then i met some more who blogged, I was some how never interested to have my own blog....couple of my friends who were excited about their new blogs persisted me to have one....i was would say I was plain lazy...However for few days now I felt like i really need to catchup on the blogging bit and so here I am !!
